Alisha Marie Ragland (she/her/hers) is an Applied Anthropological Archaeologist in the greater Bay Area. Her work centers an Indigenous archaeological approach, and community based participatory 研究. Her experience ranges from museum exhibit design and curation, pre-colonial osteological excavation and laboratory analysis, to CRM and historical artifact analysis. 
 
In addition to lecturing, Ms. Ragland serves as the 社会科学s Division Tribal Liaison, working closely with the NAGPRA Coordinator to fulfill the University's requirements 在AB275. In this role, she is accountable to California Native American Tribes in returning ancestral remains and their associated belongings to their respective 社区. Ms. Ragland received her MA in Applied Anthropology in 2018 from San Jose State University, and has been a professional California archaeologist since 2016.
