Summer Choral Workshops

The Conducting Workshop is designed for teachers and choral conductors who have had previous experience conducting choirs and who wish to fine tune their rehearsal skills with hand, baton, face and other nonverbal communication. The Teaching Workshop is designed to enhance the choral director's skills and understanding of general rehearsal techniques, voice building and literature selection.

The Young 音乐ians' Project (YMP) provides private and group lessons to youth from low-income backgrounds. The instructors are San José State University music majors. Participants commit to weekly lessons and a recital at the end of each semester. 应用程序 are accepted at the beginning of each semester.
