DaaS (Desktop as a Service) - Virtual Labs & 研究实验室

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) also known as Desktop as a Service (DaaS) is 菠菜网lol正规平台's next generation of computer labs 和研究 related compute. 这些虚拟 desktops and applications are hosted by a remote service over the internet. 这允许 students, faculty, 和研究ers to access certain labs or software, any time, anywhere, and reduce the need to be on campus to access a computer lab. 

Currently, the College of 工程, College of 社会科学, and College of 业务 deployed VDI to many on-campus computer labs as well as virtual labs for online instruction 和研究.
